The official languages of the ISARC 2006 are English and Japanese. You can give your presentation either in English or Japanese. Simultaneous interpretation (Japanese ? English) will be provided for all the sessions. However, materials for the presentation (PowerPoint, etc.) must be in English.
3. Presentation Time
Presentation time per speaker will be for 15 minutes including Q&A. Keeping to the allotted time is indispensable for smooth running of the sessions. Please make sure not to overrun your allotted time.
You are requested to come to the session room 15 minutes before the session starts for a brief meeting with your session chair(s), and to be in the session room until your entire session is finished.
4. Projector
An LCD projector will be available in each session room. Please bring your own PC.
*The projector is connected to a computer via a D-sub 15 pin plug. If your PC does not use this type of plug, please bring the necessary adaptor with you.
*Please be sure to boot your PC and to open your presentation file prior to your presentation, so that the audience will not have to wait for the presentation to run. We recommend that you test the connection between your PC and the projector during the break or the brief meeting with the session chair. Please note that setup time is also included in the 15-minute presentation time.
